2012 Is The End Of The World?

SCIENTIFIC EXPERTS from around the world are predicting that 3 yearsfrom now, all life on Earth could well come to an end. Some are saying it'll be humans that would set it off. Others believethat a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religious folksare saying it'll be God himself who would press the stop button. The following are some likely arguments as to why the world would end bythe year 2012.

Reason one: Mayan calendar
The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, abloodthirsty race that were good at two things -- building highly accurate astrological equipment outof stone and sacrificing virgins. Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of thelunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the earth will end on December 21, 2012.Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the endof the world right as well.

Reason two: Sunstorms
Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made astartling discovery. Our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic andit's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombardingthe earth with lot of radiation energy. It's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity ispredicted to get worse and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peaksometime in 2012.

Reason three: The atomsmasher
Scientists in Europe have been building the world's largest particleaccelerator. Basically, its a 27 km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it's properly even a bad idea to turnit on in the first place. They're predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when thismachine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-denseblob the size of a basketball.

Reason four: The Bible says it
If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn't badenough, religious folks are getting in on the act as well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date forArmageddon, the final battle between good an evil, has been set for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese Book ofChanges, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hinduteachings.

Reason five: Supervolcano
Yellowstone National Park in United States is famous for its thermalsprings and old faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple -- it'ssitting on top of the world's biggest volcano and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 yearsor so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill theatmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the earth into afrozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang. all going to die, very soon. They are also saying that their predictioncomes with a certainty of 99 per cent; and 2012 just happens to bethe best guess as to when it occurs.

Reason seven: Earth'smagnetic field
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that shieldsus from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call North and South have anasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so -- and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists havenoted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30 kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to apole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is under way, the magnetic field is disrupted and willeventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin inseconds, killing everything it touches.

Fruit Juice :D

Today is a beautiful day, 2 days ago my mom and i decided to make fruit juice. We usually drink fruit juice 2 to 3 times per week. The pic is the result after being blended together. Guess what inside the juice... This time is slightly different... The fruits are red apple, green apple, carrot, avocado, orange and tomato.

Without expectation, the fruit juice turned out to be so good after adding avocado in it. I can say it is way better than the juice outside. Like normal orange juice, cost about Rm5.50 regular per glass. I don't think it's pure orange juice as i heard people saying that they add water in it lol... I should open a fruit juice store too in the future lol...

Fruits or vegetables without the application of heat or solvents. For example, orange juice is the liquid extract of the fruit of the orange tree. Juice may be prepared in the home from fresh fruits and vegetables using variety of hand or electric juicers. Many commercial juices are filtered to remove fiber or pulp, but high pulp fresh orange juice is a popular beverage. Juice may be marketed in concentrate form, sometimes frozen, requiring the user to add water to reconstitute the liquid back to its "original state". However, concentrates generally have a noticeably different taste than their comparable "fresh-squeezed" versions. Other juices are reconstituted before packaging for retail sale. Common methods for preservation and processing of fruit juices include canning, pasteurization, freezing, evaporation and spray drying.

Popular juices include, but are not limited to, apple, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tomato, passion fruit, mango, carrot, grape, cherry, cranberry, guava, and pomegranate. It has become increasingly popular to combine a variety of fruits into single juice drinks. Popular blends include cran-apple (cranberry and apple) and apple and blackcurrant.

Wonder if you answer...

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that particular person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to help you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support...Or maybe help you physically, emotionally or spiritually... They may seems like a godsend and of course they are lol~ They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without doing anything wrong on your part or inconvenient time, this person will say or maybe do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die... Sometimes they walk away... Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you peace or make you laugh. Of course, they may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season..sigh~

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build in order to have a solid emotional foundation. We have to accept the lesson but not to reject it, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas or your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. When you are in love the person can do no wrong in your eyes and when you are friends with someone you can almost predict what they will say..

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Quartet Festival Comments~

Yesterday woke up early in the morning due to nightmare lol~ I heard someone playing the piano, it's my cousin. Forgotten what tv show i was watching and my mom made a cup of tea for me. Then i quickly get ready and drive to Quartet. Before that, i called up Mann Kim whether he wants to follow me or not and we both went to Quartet. We saw the whole result of Quartet Festival. For X-Pro, Red Lotus's marks is 499 if im not mistaken, Tied Down 461 marks, Signify My Conscience 450 marks and Indeed Intricate 437 marks. The marks between the 1st runner and Music Warfare was only 0.5 marks difference lol.

For my group Tied Down, Saba gave us the highest mark compared to other two judges. He gave Elliot 9/10, Hareesh 8/10, Seck 8/10, Chang 9/10, Me 9/10.Instrumental 85/100, Song 85/100. Instrumental 70/100, Song 65/100, total 461. The only judge who gave the comment is Mr Collin. This is what he commented.

For instrumental :
1. Tempo not consistant
2. Nice skill by the lead guitarist
3. Face the audience
4. Song too long

For song :
1. Key too low for the singer
2. I want to break free is a classical rock but the band play like a pop music but good try for that arrangement.

For Indeed Intricate, Mr Collin gave us the lowest mark. He gave me 3 out of 10 for playing saxophone and piano LOL~! What the hell man!? These are the comments...
For instrumental:
1. Cant hear the saxophone and cello
2. Balance for every instrument
3. Not so good, check again
4. No need to every player play loud. What's that suppose to mean??=.=

For Song:
1. Can't hear the vocal
2. Good music arrangement but the player can't give the best, good luck and try again.

Well, these are the results...Sucks rite??

Friendship

Hello Friend...

Once i sat and thought of what is a FRIEND to ME??? And i came to a conclusion which i would like to share it with my near and dear friend...That's you~

It is BY CHANCE we met, BY CHOICE we became friends..

Friendship is a strange thing. We find ourselves telling each other the deepest details of our lives. Things we don't even share with our families who raised us. But what is a Friend? Is it A confidant? A lover? A fellow email junkie? A shoulder to cry on? An ear to listen? Or a heart to feel?

A friend is all these things...and more. No matter where we met, i call you Friend. A word so small, yet so large in feeling, a word filled with emotion. It is true great things come in small packages. Once the package of FRIENDSHIP has been opened, it can never be closed. It is a constant book always written, waiting to be read and enjoyed. We may have our disagreements. We may argue. We may concern one another. Friendship is a unique bond that lasts through it all. A part of me is put into my friends. Some it is my humor, some it is my listening ear, some it is real life experiences, some it is my romanticism. But with all, it is friendship. Friendships forged are a construct stronger than steel built as a foundation. Necessary for life and necessary for love. Friends, you and me, you brought another friend, and then there were 3. We started our group. Our circle of friends, and like that circle, there is no beginning no end.

We've Been Friends for such a long and lovely time. There is no friend like the old friend who has shared our morning days, no greeting like his welcome, no homage like his praise; Fame is the scentless sunflower, with a gaudy crown of gold; But friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.

Thanks for being a very good friend to me...

P/S: Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.

~Happy Birthday Seck~

Yesterday morning i woke up at 7 a.m. and online for a while. Then around 8.30 a.m. seck called up whether i wanna join them for breakfast at 9 a.m. End up meeting them in Quartet around 10 something. Harikesh, Cason, Elliot, Seck and I were planning to go Empire, unfortunately no current=.= Malaysia Boleh! Sandakan Natural City! Can't wait to get out of this country lol. Then we planned to go yum cha but Harikesh and Cason couldn't make it. Jesselton's closed, Equator...don't think so. Drove to Taman Utama but D'venice's closed, Vedablu half open...End up we went to The FRIENDS House yum cha. It's a new shop, the drinks are not bad. We ordered fruit juice.

We talked a lot of stuff there and planning to have a band photo within this holiday. Until 11 something, Elliot wait his car near Giant and i drove Seck to Cason's house then only to his tuition in Sentosa. Then, Seck called up around 12 something LOL! Asked me whether im in Quartet or not, as i told him i might meet Francisco Allan there. But too bad Seck, i didn't. haha.

Then, i start to bake my new cake " German Chocolate Cake", which turn out to be good among the others that i made before lol~ As im waiting for the cake, i chatted with my friends and exercise my waist doing back bridge. then, i went out to buy some vegetables in Bestmart but couldn't find it. Drove all the way to fresh market near Happy Mart and manage to buy it. As im driving back, i saw the hill on fire lol.

Seck invited me to his birthday dinner at Ming Restaurant. Those who joined the dinner are Juan and his wife, Elliot, Harikesh, Hareesh, and Chang. I thought i was the last to arrive, but when i went in, Seck was all alone sitting there drinking tea lol~ The others came late. There are 2 table full of japanese, and they start singing lol. We had a group photo before we leave. Next stop, EMPIRE!!! 6 of us played COD4. My team members are Hareesh and Seck, the other team are Harikesh, Chang and Elliot. By the time we played until high, guess what happen...blackout=.=" Really spoilt the fun. Again, decided to go yum cha. We met Edi and his gang in 7 heaven, but we didn't order anything and left the place. Then we headed to D'venice yum cha and we met Nicholas Lam. The funniest part is when we want to pay the bill. We used up about 5 minutes to pay the bill lol.. Just like solving an Add Maths equation. Finally, we left and go back home.

It's been a wonderful night, especially for Seck, even though he thinks that something is still missing lol. Happy 18th birthday! May your wish come true.

~Happy Birthday Eyen Khoo~

On wednesday afternoon, i went to jesselton yum cha. When i arrived, i was surprise that Rachel, Jia Huey, Hung Pak, and Eyen were there. They were having a meeting about the family camp on this Saturday. Then, Louis brought a tiramisu cake for Eyen and we start singing the birthday song for her. They left the place around 4 p.m. because they wanna walk trig hill. Eyen asked me to join them, but i refused to go. I continue to online until 5pm and left Jesselton.

L.H.S: Tan Ai Ling (sis), me, Eyen Khoo

L.H.S: Mann Kim, me, Eyen Khoo
L.H.S: me, Mann Kim, Jecintha Chai, Eyen Khoo, my sis
LOL.. Me and Eyen Khoo XD

Fake smile...:D
At night, We celebrated Eyen's birthday at D'venice and a farewell to Jecintha Chai who is leaving on Sunday. Those who joined us were Elbert, Jia Huey, Tom, Jessie, Kok Fui, Mann Kim, and Ps Siew Mooi. We had a lot of fun during that period of time...lol playing with Eyen's camera until the battery died as we keep on playing the panaroma shot. Below are the panaroma shot taken.

Had a great time with them, joke around and laugh around. But suddenly talk about Eyen's and Jessie's dog, Lucy Anne & Lady Anne. Both the dog comes from the same family, but the difference between them is the weight. Lucy Anne seems to be heavier than Lady Anne. What did you feed her jessie?haha...10kg++ @@ i love Lady Anne. Whenever i go to Eyen's house, Lady Anne will forget about her owner...haha~ The chit chat lasted an hour+ and we left D'venice around 10.30 p.m. I hope Eyen really enjoy herself. May God Bless You Always!

Then quickly get off the car and lay down on the road. lol...LUCKILY Mann Kim was there and helped me out. Thank you dude~ having difficulties when i walk up the stairs.

Laughter by English Test..LOL

You mess up your History test and a classmate storms up to your desk and abuses you. Do you yell back and suggest that he drops dead or something to that effect? Or do you simply smile and shrug it off as one of those days?

Whether you are having a bad day at school or recovering from an illness, laughter may be the best medicine - it is natural, free, positively contagious and very effective. The arrival of a good clown exercises a more beneficial influence upon the health of a town than twenty asses laden with drugs, said the 17th century physician Thomas Sydenham. And he was not far from the truth.

Laughter exercises the muscles in your face, shoulder, diaphragm and abdomen. During a hearty laugh, oxygen surges through the bloodstream and your brain orchestrates hormonal rushes that raise alertness and numb pain. Scientists at the Centre of Preventive Cardiology at the University of Maryland in America believe that laughter is very good for the heart.

We start laughing when we are around 10 weeks old. At 16 weeks, we laugh at least once an hour and by four, we are cracking about once every four minutes. In contrast, the average adult only manages to laugh about 16 times aday. It appears that we actually took it to heart what our parents told us that life " was no laughing matter".

In order to get ourselves laughing, it has been suggested that we expose ourselves to humour - watch funny movies, learn jokes, start to laugh at ourselves and improve the sense of ridiculous. However, we should try to avoid using negative humour, and that includes sarcasm, ridicule, contempt and joking about people's name.

Knowing you are not alone is a key to great physical and mental health. In our day-to-day life, we rarely laugh alone. Laughter tracks in sitcoms testify to the fact that we are readily to laugh when we are with people. Laughter is about relationships and about sharing - qualities that are known to relieve stress and promote recovery from illness, especially among cancer sufferers.

Sadly, bad mood is something many of us are experiencing with more frequency while occasions for us to have a good and hearty laugh are becoming few and far between. It is not surprising when you think of the hectic lifestyles and pressures we live with today, but too many down days can start to seriously interfere with our work, relationships and home life.

Studies have shown that women are almost twice more likely to suffer from bad moods and depression than men, and it is not solely due to hormones. Research indicates that women spend a lot of time thinking about what is making them unhappy instead of "laughing their blues away". Consequently, they draw themselves far deeper into the misery they are in. Men, on the other hand, are better at distracting themselves from their problems by doing something totally different. They seem to be able to shrug their shoulders and laugh it off and as a result, their mood quickly improves.

So, the next time you are feeling low, instead of wallowing in self-pity, laugh and shake off that bad feeling and you can lift your spirits immediately.
Thats really good for Deepika...haha~ now i understand why she laugh all the time... :D should learn it though... ;) LMAO

An Amazing Man

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the world's second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Following are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
- Things were very cheap that time... Encourage your children to invest.

2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

- One can buy many things with few savings. Encourage your children to start some kind of business. 3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

- Don't buy more than you "really need" and encourage your children to do and think the same.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

- You are what you are...

5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

- Always think how you can accomplish things economically.

6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.

- Assign the right people to the right jobs.

7.He has given his CEO's only two rules:

Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.

Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

- Set goals and make sure people focus on them.

8. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.

- Don't try to show off, just be your self and do what you enjoy doing.

9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

10. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

His advice to young people:

"Stay away from credit cards & bank loans and invest in yourself and remember:

A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.

B. Live your life as simply as possible
C. Don't do what others say - listen to them, but do what you feel good doing.

D. Don't follow brand names; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.

E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; rather just spend on those things you really need.

F. After all, it's your life so why allow others to rule your life?"

"The HAPPIEST people DO NOT necessarily have the 'BEST' Things. They simply APPRECIATE the things they have"

Let us choose a simpler and smarter way to live...

Quartet Music Festival Pics..

Capo~

As usual i woke up at 6 a.m. in the morning, thinking the same thing for past few weeks. Then get ready to go to school and start the journey around 6.30 a.m. In the car, as usual still thinking the same thing lol and listening to evanescene especially My Immortal..@.@ It takes about 10 to 15 minutes from my house to school. By the time i arrived, the school bell rang. Sometimes i'll be in dewan bacaan as Kok is there every morning.

After add maths test, went to dewan bacaan and start talking crap with mann kim lol...such a boring day in school, slept after add maths paper 1 and 2. Didn't eat after recess as the paper 1 starts at 10.30 a.m., ends at 12.30 p.m. and another 50 minutes till the school ends. Normally i'll walk down the hill as i told my mom to pick me up at the botanist garden everyday, then either use the coastal highway or normal road. But there're no difference at all whether to take coastal highway or normal road lol... Because when i arrive Taman Indah traffic light, the time will be 1.41 p.m. So i told my mom what for taking the coastal highway, and i think the distance is longer compare to normal road..Same Sh*t Different Thing. On the way back still thinking the same old thing..hmm...

I arrived home around 1.45 p.m. Then take my bath, lunch, watch tv and take a nap. My dream were usually school lol.. always can dream about Gane, church, family and HER. Reasonly i've been dreaming about her..hmm...Don't know why..Seems like there's something important. Hmm.. Nevermind.. Temporary let it be~

Around 6 something, Eyen called up and asked when should we capo... My sis said around 8 something. LOL.. But we went to Josephine's house 1st as my sister wanna give her a present before she go back to KK tomorrow morning. We ended up chit chatting in her house around half an hour and her mom gave us 7 mango...whoo~ then we headed straight to Eyen's house. She lives in Taman Tshun Ngen, just invade her house when you feel free..haha~:D Her Opposite house open house, buka puasa i guess...Full house..lol

The capo begins~ My sister play the piano, Eyen play the flute, while i play the saxophone. The 1st song we played is Moonlight Sonata. Follow by Hinata vs Neji, Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You, Kenny G The Moment, Jay Chou - Cai Hong, and Until The Last Moment. Then, we left her house at 12 a.m. It's been a long time we didn't capo together... I don't know when will the next capo be. It is sooner or later.

That's all for today.

My Thoughts..

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind .You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future love...and you shall be loved.
All people smile in the same language. Everyone needs to be loved...Especially when they do not deserve it. The real measure of a man's wealth is what he has invested in eternity.

Laughter is God's sunshine. Everyone has beauty but not everyone sees it. It's important for parents to live the same things they teach. Thank God for what you have, TRUST GOD for what you need. If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow, you have no today to be thankful for. Man looks at outward appearance but not looks within it.

The choice you make today will usually affect tomorrow. Take time to laugh, for it is the music of the soul. Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears.

Love is strengthened by working through conflicts together. Harsh words break no bones but they do break hearts. To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it.

We take for granted the things that we should be giving thanks for. Love is the only thing that can bepided without being diminished.

Happiness is enhanced by others but does not depend upon others. For every minute you are angry with someone, you lose 60 seconds of happiness that you can never get back. Do what you can, for who you can, with what you have, and where you are.
Until then...
